Since 2018, the number of psychometric tests in Hebrew a year has dropped from five to four, but the ban on
taking two psychometric tests in a row has been lifted. You can take the psychometric in English and in any
other language two or more times in a row at present.

You can take the psychometric test in Hebrew in spring, summer, autumn and winter. The exact dates of the
exams are set taking into account a number of factors, including the study schedule of the universities.

The psychometric test In English takes place twice a year: in spring and in summer.

At the moment, there are no plans to increase the number of psychometric tests per year, since a new exam
has to be prepared each time, and additional dates would entail higher costs for NITE, resulting in an
increase in the price of the exam for applicants.

Universities are not able to accept all applicants, therefore preference in enrollment is given to
candidates with the highest chance of successfully completing their first academic degree.

In order to predict the success of an applicant in academic studies, most universities rely on the score
from the psychometric exam and the results of the final school examinations (high school diploma, “bagrut”).

The sole purpose of the psychometric exam is to predict the likelihood of an applicant’s success: the higher
the score on the psychometric test, the higher the chances of successfully completing their studies at the
university.

At the same time, it is important to remember that we are talking only about the likelihood of graduating
from a university. In other words, the grade achieved on the psychometric test is not absolute value. Even
if an applicant has a high score on the psychometric, it cannot be unequivocally stated that they will
definitely complete their studies for the first academic degree, or that someone with a low score will not
succeed in their studies.

A student’s success is influenced by a number of factors: motivation, flexibility of thought, persistence,
diligence – and not all of these skills and abilities can be measured through exams.

The psychometric in English can be taken at any time after your arrival in Israel, regardless of the period
of time of residence in the country.

No. If you are registered for the psychometric in English, the writing assignment can only be written in
English.

It is better to take the psychometric in the language in which you read more often and more fluently. The
scoring for the psychometric test is equal in all languages, so you need to choose the language in which you
have the highest chance of getting a higher grade.

A high school diploma (“bagrut”) or a certificate of completion of pre-academic studies in the “Mehina”
program is a prerequisite for admission to a university in Israel.

To sign up for the psychometric in English, you need to select this language during the registration
procedure for the exam.

The psychometric test is taken each time by thousands of applicants who require appropriately adapted
premises. For that reason, NITE rents classrooms and auditoriums from universities, colleges and schools.

Usually, these classrooms are used by the students of these educational institutions, therefore the dates of
psychometric exams depend on their schedule and, as a rule, take place when the majority of students are not
studying – on vacations and during national holidays.

Every year about 70,000 people take the psychometric (from 8,000 to 25,000 per entry). NITE is a non-profit
organization which does not receive outside subsidies. The budget of the National Institute for Testing and
Evaluation is entirely dependent on exam fees. This budget is used to develop and run psychometric tests.

The price of signing up for a psychometric exam is a reasonable compromise between the NITE’s desire to
provide applicants with the best conditions for conducting the psychometric test, enabling a fair and
accurate assessment of their abilities, and minimizing the costs.

The development of important exams such as the psychometric test is a very expensive process that requires
special attention to the accuracy of the tasks, the relevance of the topics and the precision necessary in
determining the level of difficulty of the tasks.

The development of each task requires the participation of many experts and consists of several stages:
composing the task, transferring the material to professional editors, making amendments, introducing the
task into the pilot (trial) section and statistical control over the quality of the question and the level
of its complexity.

Some of the questions do not pass the entire cycle of checks and do not end up in the real exam.

The compilation of the sections also takes place according to certain rules: you need to observe the
necessary proportion of complex and simple questions, vary the tasks and their content, etc.

The sections are assembled into complete exams according to various criteria.

After the psychometric test is ready, professional translators are hired to prepare psychometric tests in
four additional languages: Arabic, Russian, English and French. Most of the exam options are also adapted
for applicants with special needs – for example, for students who have hearing or visual impairments, as
well as for examinees with learning disabilities or physical disabilities.

After the development is completed, NITE prints tens of thousands of exam brochures, distributes them around
the country, pays for the rental of classrooms in educational institutions where the psychometric takes
place, pays for the work of examiners and experts who check the written assignment and multiple-choice
forms.

In addition, NITE develops and maintains complex computer models, such as a system for signing up for a
psychometric test on the Internet, programs for calculating and transmitting marks, and also takes care of
protecting the database of the applicants.

In conclusion, NITE is constantly engaged in research work to ensure the high quality of the psychometric
exam and the accuracy of testing the skills of applicants.

All of the following applies to psychometric tests in Hebrew and Arabic, since the exam in English, Russian
and French, as a rule, takes place only on one of the two declared dates (you cannot know in advance which
of the two).

Even if two exam dates are declared for a given psychometric entry, it is impossible to ask NITE in advance
to take the exam on a certain day.

If a specific date is important to you, you can choose another exam entry, with a date more suitable for
you.

Within a week after receiving an invitation to the psychometric by e-mail, you can try to change the exam
date via your personal account on the NITE website in the tab “פרטי השיבוץ” or by contacting NITE by phone
02-6759555, extension 1.

Changing the date of the exam is possible only if the psychometric test takes place on two days and there
are free spots on the selected date.

Distribution into classrooms is carried out randomly, in accordance with the data specified by the applicant
when filling out the registration form.

When registering for a psychometric test, you can choose the date of the exam, the language and the region
in which you want to take psychometrics (center, south, north or Jerusalem).

It is impossible to guarantee in advance a specific day of the exam, if two days are declared, or a specific
classroom since until registration is closed, NITE does not know the exact number of people who signed up,
which defines how many classrooms will be needed.

However, you can try to change classrooms within a week of receiving an email invitation with the exam
location.

Change can be made on the basis of free seats in the classrooms. A request for a change of classroom can be
submitted through your personal account on the NITE website in the “פרטי השיבוץ” tab or by calling
02-6759555, extension 1.

You can change the classroom only if there are free spots on the specified campus on the exam date you
selected. You cannot select a specific classroom.

Upon completion of registration for psychometrics, applicants receive an invitation to the exam by e-mail or
regular mail.

The place and time of the psychometric test can also be viewed in your personal account on the NITE website,
in the tab “פרטי השיבוץ”.

Psychometrics can be taken several times in a row. The total number of exams one can take is not limited.

If you signed up for psychometry through the website, you should receive the confirmation of payment on the
email address you provided.

If you changed your email address after signing up for the psychometric test, please specify the new address
in your personal account on the NITE website.

After that, you can send a request to the applicant service department asking them to send you a copy of
these documents. The copies will be sent to your confirmed email address.

If, even after contacting the applicant service department, you do not find the confirmation of your
registration for the exam in your e-mail inbox, you can send an appeal through the menu “צור קשר” on the
NITE website.

If you want to cancel your participation in the psychometric test, you can do this through your personal
account on the NITE website.

The registration fee will be refunded after deduction of part of the payment in accordance with the law.

Outside of exceptional cases set out specifically in law, the following rules apply:

– if the request to cancel participation in the psychometric is received no later than one day before the
end of the registration, the fee will be refunded after a deduction of 15%.

– if the request for cancellation is received after the registration deadline, the fee will be refunded
after a deduction of 30%.

The development of each task in the psychometric requires the participation of many experts and consists of
several stages: composing the task, transferring the material to professional editors, making amendments,
introducing the task into the pilot (trial) section and statistical control over the quality of the question
and the level of its complexity.

Some of the questions do not pass the entire cycle of checks and do not end up in the real sections of the
exam, but if the task has already been included in the pilot section, it has passed many checks and the
likelihood that it will reappear in the future in one of the sections of the exam that are assessed is very
high.

Therefore, we put a lot of effort into not only monitoring the general trends in the psychometric, but also
discussing in detail the pilot sections with our experts so that our students do not have any unexpected
changes in the exam.

You can transfer the psychometric test to the next (or later) entry in your personal account on the NITE
website or by calling 02-6759555 (extension 1).

If the request to postpone the date of the psychometric is received before the end of the registration for
the current exam, the postponement will be made free of charge.

If the registration for the current exam is over, thechange of the exam date will cost an additional 18% of
the cost of the original registration.

An applicant who did not come to the exam on time can postpone the exam date in his personal account on the
NITE website or by calling 02-6759555 (extension 1) ten days after the psychometric.

You can try to sign up for the psychometric after the end of your regular exam registration no later than
eight working days before the psychometric date (late registration).

The NITE publishes the opening date of the late registration on its website. The payment for the
psychometric exam in this case is 150% of the original fee.

Please note: if you register for the psychometric late, you cannot choose the location for the exam (the
decision on the location of the exam with late registration is made by the NITE).

Please note: when registering late for the psychometric, you cannot ask for an exam with special conditions
(for people with learning disabilities, attention deficit and physical disabilities).

You can sign up for the psychometric in two ways: through the website or using a special form, which can be
ordered from NITE.

Preparation for the psychometric is a very complex procedure, which includes booking classrooms, placing
examinees in an educational institution closest to their home to take the exam, printing individual answer
sheets and written assignment forms, printing tens of thousands of examination brochures, packing them and
distributing them to classrooms, hiring examiners and much more.

This preparation needs to be highly effective and with the least amount of disruption possible. Therefore,
NITE needs at least a month in order to work according to the exact number of applicants and their
preferences in terms of the location of the exam.

Nevertheless, NITE often makes it possible to sign up for the psychometric during the late registration
period and even an emergency registration (on the day of the exam). Such registration significantly
increases the cost of the exam, as it imposes additional obligations on NITE at the last moment, therefore
we recommend using the opportunity of late registration only in case of emergency.

Most examination rooms are equipped with student chairs. This is how the vast majority of students in Israel
study. In order for the process of distributing applicants in classroom to be fair, NITE conducts it
randomly with the help of a computer. Research conducted by NITE has shown that the way applicants sit at
the exam does not affect the grade.

Sometimes applicants ask for a desk and chair from an adjacent class, or try to take a seat at the only desk
in the classroom. NITE does not allow this, as it discriminates against the rest of the applicants (not
everyone can sit at a desk, not all classrooms can fit a table, etc.).

Most of the classrooms provided for NITE by educational institutions are equipped with student chairs.

Applicants are randomly assigned to classes and cannot ask to change the classroom.

If you are taking the psychometric in a classroom with student chairs, we recommend placing the answer sheet
on the pad of the student’s chair and placing the exam brochure on top of the answer sheet. To answer a
question, move the brochure slightly so that you can see the correct place to mark on the answer sheet. The
rest of your things can usually be put on an adjacent chair (as a rule, during a psychometric test, there is
a gap between two neighboring applicants – two chairs).

People with disabilities or non-standard sizes that do not allow them to take the psychometric test while
sitting on a student’s chair can contact NITE (the department of examinations for people with physical
disabilities) and ask to take the exam at a desk. An appropriate medical certificate must be attached to the
request, and this must be done no later than the end of the registration for the psychometric test (in
accordance with the instructions published on the NITE website).

Any classroom equipped with student chairs has chairs designed for left-handers. Examiners are instructed to
provide appropriate writing conditions for left-handed applicants.

It is important to inform the examiner immediately after entering the class that you are left-handed so that
they can find the right chair for you.

During the psychometric, you can use the bathroom only with the permission of the examiners and at the
expense of the exam time. Since the examiners must accompany applicants when going to the bathroom, you need
to raise your hand and wait for your turn.

If, due to a medical condition, the applicant must use the bathroom often, it is necessary to notify NITE in
advance (no later than the last date of registration for the current psychometric test). The request must be
accompanied by medical certificates. Detailed information can be obtained on the NITE website.

If it seems to you that your potential will not be fully realized on the psychometric due to the fact that
you are not feeling well, it is worth rescheduling the exam for the next time.

An applicant who did not show up for the exam will be able to transfer his participation in the
psychometric, ten days after the exam, to the next entry via their personal account on the NITE website.

If an applicant feels unwell during the psychometric test, they can contact the examiners and ask for
permission to discontinue the exam. If the applicant, despite feeling unwell, continues the exam, he will
not be able to make any claims against the NITE later on.

If you encounter any obstacle during the psychometric exam, raise your hand and tell the examiner about the
problem. If the examiners in the classroom cannot solve the problem, they will contact the NITE
administration.

In any case, it is necessary to continue doing the exam (unless you have received other instructions from
the examiners).

You need to raise your hand and call one of the examiners and explain the essence of the problem in a quiet
voice. Sometimes the problem can be solved by the examiners themselves in the classroom, and sometimes they
will need to consult with the NITE administration.

From the moment an error is discovered, it is important to continue with the exam, making sure that you mark
subsequent answers in the correct place on the answer sheet. Do not stop doing the exam (except when asked
by the examiner).

No! It is necessary to mark all the answers on the answer sheet before the end of the time allotted for the
current section. Anyone who does not have time to do it in the allotted time will not be able to do it
later. You cannot go back to a section after the time allotted for it has expired or go on to the next
section.

The written assignment in the psychometric is written by hand in pencil. The answers in the multiple choice
tasks can only be marked with a pencil, just like the written assignment.

A written assignment (essay) in the psychometric test is written on a lined sheet intended for this task.
There is room for a draft in the exam brochure.

Some applicants who are allowed special conditions have the opportunity to type the essay on a computer.
This is due to certain limitations or violations of the learning process, which justify such an exception to
the rules.

NITE rents classrooms from many educational institutions, so it is not always possible to know in advance in
which classroom the psychometric exam will take place and what the conditions in this room will be
(including whether there will be desks or student chairs in the classroom).

Most of the classrooms are equipped with student chairs, but some also have desks. NITE does not know which
applicants will be allocated for the exam in a particular case, cannot control the general condition of
classrooms and the air conditioners, as well as the level of extraneous noise.

Thousands of applicants take the psychometric and classroom conditions may not perfectly match the
preferences of each one.

Sometimes applicants complain about the cold or stuffiness in the examination rooms, extraneous noise or
other interference. Moreover, sometimes applicants with completely opposite preferences find themselves in
the same classroom – some are lightly dressed, complain about the cold and ask to turn off the air
conditioner, while others are warmly dressed, ask to lower the temperature of the air conditioner and
complain about the heat.

Some applicants ask to open a window during the exam to ventilate the room, others complain about noise if
the windows are open.

NITE tries to provide optimal conditions for those taking the psychometric test: it ensures that the
examination rooms are properly equipped, informs educational institutions of the exact dates of exams and
asks on these dates to reduce the level of extraneous noise in the immediate vicinity of the examination
rooms, and also takes all measures to effectively and quickly eliminate unforeseen obstacles to applicants
if they arise.

In addition, NITE examines in detail all complaints about the conditions of the exam received during the
psychometric test or after it.

If it turns out that the complaint was fair, NITE offers the applicant an appropriate and professional
solution to the problem.

In any case, you should prepare for the psychometric test in advance: you can bring earplugs (not connected
to each other and without electronic components), additional clothes and arrive for the exam in advance.

At psychometrics, the use of any items that make a sound is prohibited. Note only silent stopwatches can be
used.

Examiners keep track of time without interruption, from the beginning of the first section of multiple
choice tasks until the end of the exam.

If the applicant stops the stopwatch at the end of each section and starts it again at the beginning of a
new section, the time difference accumulates over time (due to the stopwatch use by the applicant).

For the exam, you must bring with you an identity card, on the basis of which you registered for the
psychometric (without it, you will not be admitted to the exam), at least a couple of pencils, an eraser and
a sharpener.

It is worth bringing the invitation to the exam (to easily find the exact location and time of your
psychometric test), food and drink (make sure that they are not packed so that the opening of the package
will not be accompanied by a loud noise that disturbs other applicants) and clothes, just in case the
classroom is colder or warmer than you expected.

You cannot bring earplugs connected by a wire or band . You can bring basic foam rubber earplugs.

Also, you cannot keep any electronic devices with you during the exam (mobile phone, computer, MP3 player,
camera, smartwatch, electronic dictionaries, calculator, etc.).

If you are an Israeli citizen, but you do not have a Teudat Zehut available, you can present an Israeli
passport (“darkon”), driver’s license or amilitary ID (“Teudat Hoger / Katsin”) when entering the classroom
where you are taking the psychometric

If you do not have Israeli citizenship, on the day of the exam, you can only present a foreign passport, on
the basis of which you signed up for the psychometric.

No. Studies have shown that choosing one topic of a written assignment from several takes a long time and
significantly reduces the time for writing the essay itself.

In addition, the comparison of different written assignments of different applicants is less accurate.

Due to all the above circumstances, NITE believes that the disadvantages of providing the applicant with
several topics to choose from exceed the advantages, therefore, in the psychometric, it is impossible to
choose the topic of the essay.

Different applicants have different tastes, styles, attitudes and experiences that affect the writing
assignment. However, good academic work meets the general criteria detailed in the answer to the previous
question, so these differences between psychometric test takers do not affect the quality of the assessment.

Evaluation of written assignment is objective and fair. The purpose of the written assignment in
psychometrics is to correctly assess the applicant’s ability to express himself in academic writing. The
experts do not assess the side factors.

Academic writing is part of the psychometric exam. There are several ways to assess such work. An essay in
the psychometric is tested on two parameters: content and language.

The content parameter includes the following criteria: direct correspondence of the work to the task, the
level of discussion, the use of critical thinking and the use of tools to organize the text.

The language parameter includes the following criteria: clarity of presentation, correspondence of style to
academic writing, literacy and accuracy of vocabulary, and range of vocabulary.

Experts reviewing the essay in the psychometric are carefully selected and trained at NITE. Each written
assignment is reviewed by two independent experts. Each reviewer gives two marks – one for content and one
for language.

The score for an essay in the psychometric test is the sum of four scores (two from each assessor). If there
is a significant difference between the assessments of two experts, the essay is submitted for verification
to a third expert, and their assessment is summed up with the closest assessment of one of the first two
experts.

The applicant must write an essay in the language in which they are taking the exam. If the psychometric is
in Hebrew – the essay must be in Hebrew, if the exam is in Arabic – the essay must be in Arabic, if the
psychometric test is in English – then the essay must be in English (and so on).

Those who take the combined version of the psychometric test can write an essay in any of the languages
indicated in the examination brochure – English, Hebrew, Russian, Spanish, German, Italian, Hungarian,
Portuguese, Dutch (Dutch) and Amharic.

If the essay is written in a language other than the one in which the psychometric test takes place, the
result of the written assignment will be canceled.

No. The essay is one of the verbal reasoning tasks and the score for this section includes a score on
analogy exercises, sentence completion, logic, reading comprehension, and the written assignment altogether.

The value of the written assignment in the section of verbal reasoning in psychometrics is 25%, and the rest
(multiple choice) is 75%.

In our preparation courses, students receive not only a separate grade for each written assignment, but also
detailed expert comments that will help them improve the result rapidly.

If you have a complaint about the exam you took, you can contact the NITE’s appeal department in written
form (https://www.nite.org.il/contact-us/contact-details-by-subject-matter/customer-
relations-bureau/ ).

Each request will be reviewed within 25 working days. NITE does not consider collective or telephone
complaints on these issues. It is not enough to note your complaint on the questionnaire that is held after
the exam. You need to apply according to the above procedure.

No one can fill out the answer sheet but the applicant. The National Institute for Testing and Evaluation
details this at www.nite.org.il.

Moreover, before starting psychometrics, the examiners read out detailed instructions, in which special
attention is paid to the fact that it is impossible to return to the section after the end of the time
allotted for this section.

Since the assessment for psychometrics is relative, special treatment of applicants who did not mark the
answers in the answer sheet within the allotted time will violate the principle of fair treatment of those
taking the exam and discriminate against other examinees.

Moreover, all brochures are destroyed after the exam (and not stored in the NITE).

At our course of preparation for psychometrics, students can write 10 complete unique psychometric tests at
no additional cost, and our instruction is fully consistent with the instruction of NITE. During these
exams, experts at Okay check the accuracy of the applicants’ instructions – therefore, it is extremely
important to take part in all these psychometric tests during the course.

Since October 2012, all applicants who take the psychometric (in all languages, not only Hebrew), as well as
those who take the psychometric under special conditions, have written the exam in the new format, including
a written assignment.

The fact that an essay was included in the psychometric test reflects the importance that Israeli
universities attach to the applicant’s academic writing abilities. Representatives of educational
institutions are unanimous in the opinion that any Israeli student should be able to correctly express their
thoughts in a proper form.

The ability to comprehend texts by reading and the ability to communicate well are complementary skills, and
both are essential skills to succeed in school.

Reading is the main channel for obtaining new information, and writing is used to take notes of new
material, apply the knowledge gained in practice and present new ideas. In addition, the skill of academic
writing is useful for completing assignments used by universities to assess the level of a student’s
knowledge (writing term papers and theses).

By law, higher education institutions can determine the validity period of a psychometric grade at their
discretion.

Universities have accepted psychometric test grades for seven years, but some educational institutions have
significantly increased this period.

In order to obtain accurate information about how long a psychometric test grade is accepted by a given
educational institution, you need to contact the Admissions department of this educational institution.

NITE does not provide educational institutions with information about whether the applicant received any
benefits for psychometrics on their own initiative. However, the institution itself may inquire whether the
exam took place under normal or special conditions. In its response to such a request, NITE does not
indicate the exact diagnosis that served as the basis for granting preferential conditions to the applicant.

Educational institutions have the right to independently establish criteria for the selection and admission
of applicants. NITE does not interfere in this process.

Based on our many years of experience, if an applicant has taken the psychometric several times,
universities usually consider the best score.

However, it is worth checking this beforehand with the Admissions of your chosen institution.

No. The score for the written assignment in psychometrics is calculated based on the scores of two
independent experts. If there is too much difference between these two assessments, the work is transferred
to a third expert for review, and their assessment is summed up with the assessment of the closest expert in
the assessment.

Therefore, you cannot ask to double-check the written assignment, since this part of psychometrics has
already been checked twice.

Checking the multiple-choice form is carried out using a high-precision optical scanner. Nevertheless, NITE
allows everyone to go through a re-verification procedure. This can be ordered no later than three months
after the psychometric. The cost is 60 shekels (data as of August 2021).

If during the check it turns out that a mistake was made, the fee for the check will be fully refunded to
the applicant. You can pay for an additional check via your personal account on the NITE website (you need
to select the required exam in the “Grades” section and then “Request for a second check”).

NITE recommends downloading the official certificate in the PDF format immediately after the publication of
the grades for the psychometric and saving it on your device. All grades for past psychometric tests can be
viewed in the personal account on the website of the National Institute for Testing and Evaluation.

An additional way is to contact the NITE assessment department by phone 02-6759555 and ask to send the
certificate with the grade to the e-mail address that you indicated when registering for the psychometric.
This service is provided by NITE free of charge.

If you have forgotten the password for entering your personal account on the NITE website, you can click
“שכחתי סיסמה” (“forgot password”) and restore it.

Password recovery on the NITE website: enter your ID number and choose a method for obtaining a password:

Within 45 days from the day of the exam, the grades are sent to the applicants’ e-mail address (or sent by
regular mail, if the applicant asked so).

If you did not unsubscribe from the e-mail when registering, the rating will be sent only in this way.

After publication, you can also see the grade in your personal account on the NITE website, logging in with
your passport number or teudat zehut and a password.

Within three months after the exam, you can contact NITE with a request to re-send the grade (free of
charge). After this period has passed, NITE recommends that you perform this action yourself through your
personal account on the NITE website.

If you contact the NITE with a request to re-send the grade after three months from the date of the exam,
the service is provided for 39 shekels (according to the information from 2021).

In order to submit such a request, you need to select the required exam date in your personal account on the
NITE website, then the tab “ציונים” (“grades”) and “בקשה לקבלת תעודה” (“request for a certificate”).

You can pay for the service using a credit card on the website or by downloading a special form. The paid
form must be saved and sent to NITE at score@nite.org.il.

We advise you to contact the NITE assessment department the next day after sending the form and check that
the request has been received.

The difficulty level of the spring and summer psychometric test is the same.

If it is important for an applicant to start studying at a university in the coming academic year, it is
worth taking the spring psychometric, since not all faculties accept the grade for the summer psychometric
for the coming academic year.

Nevertheless, the question of which psychometric is better to take – spring or summer – is personal, and the
answer to it depends on when the applicant can best prepare for this difficult exam.

If circumstances develop in such a way that the applicant has more free time to prepare for the summer
psychometric, it is certainly better to take the exam in the summer, and vice versa.

The grade for the psychometric can be viewed for free in your personal account on the NITE website. If you
changed your email address after registering for the psychometric, you need to specify the new email address
in your personal account on the NITE website or contact the assessment department by phone 02-6759555,
extension 2 or by email score@nite.org.il.

You can also ask NITE to send the grade by e-mail.

NITE undertakes to provide universities with an accurate, reliable and objective assessment of
psychometrics. Therefore, checking and analyzing a psychometric exam takes time. All grades of the
applicants who took the same psychometric test are published simultaneously. There is no way to speed up the
test.

NITE undertakes to transfer psychometric grades to universities no later than 45 days from the day of the
exam. The approximate date of the publication of grades can be found on the NITE website in the general
table of exam dates.

Grades are sent to the applicant’s email address, which was specified during registration.

In order to directly transfer the grade for psychometrics to an educational institution which is indicated
in the NITE register, you need to select the required exam date in your personal account on the NITE
website, then the “list of educational institutions” (“רשימת המוסדות שאליהם בחרת לדווח על ציוניך”) and then
click on “add / remove educational institutions” (“הוסף / הסר מוסדות”).

You can also do this by downloading the form for requesting the transfer of the grade to the educational
institution (https://www.nite.org.il/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/psy_scores_inst_acc-3-1.docx) and send it to
the assessment department as an email attached file (score@nite.org.il).

If no confirmation is received after sending the e-mail, please contact the Assessment Department by phone
(02-6759555, extension 2).

It is worth checking the receipt of the appeal the next day after sending the letter.

This service is provided free of charge. Once the grade has been submitted to the institution, it can be
received within seven working days from the date it was sent. If the educational institution does not appear
in the NITE register, the transfer of the grade for the psychometric test is impossible.

If the applicant wants to prevent the transfer of the psychometric grade to one or more Israeli universities
(by default, psychometric grades are automatically transferred to the universities), you can submit a
corresponding request in your personal account on the NITE website.

Another way is to send an e-mail with a relevant request to the NITE assessment department
(score@nite.org.il) one day before the exam, with a precise indication of which universities the
psychometric grade should not be sent to.

In each such application, it is important to correctly indicate the name and surname of the applicant, the
teudat zehut number, the type of exam and its date (a similar procedure is available for those who take the
Amir, Yael exams and other NITE exams).

NITE calculates the grade for the psychometric as follows:

1. Evaluation of the written assignment;
2. Evaluation of multiple choice sections;
3. Calculation of scores for the three parts of the psychometric (quantitative reasoning, verbal
   reasoning and English) and transformation of scores into a single scale.

Each part has an individual scale of grading from 50 to 150.

4. Calculation of the overall score for the psychometric test, taking into account the specific value
   of each part. Each of the three overall psychometric test scores (exact accent, humanitarian accent,
   and overall score) are scored on a scale from 200 to 800.

Psychometric exam grades are sent to the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, the Bar-Ilan University, the
University of Haifa, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Tel Aviv University and the Technion.

During the registration procedure for the psychometric test, you can mark additional educational
institutions to which your grade will also be sent. Simultaneously with the distribution of grades to
educational institutions, the grade form is sent by e-mail to the applicant himself.
